Funeral services for Joanna Snow Moore, 91, of Smithville, were held Sept. 30 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Dr. John Carpenter officiated with burial following in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.   
Mrs. Moore passed away Sept. 27 at NHC of Smithville. She was affiliated with Smithville First United Methodist Church, a retired machine operator at the Smithville Shirt Factory and she was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and American Legion and former member of the Eastern Star.   
She was preceded in death by her husband Marion Edward Moore; parents Robert Lee and Virgie Mangum Snow; sister Frances Poss; and three brothers Howard, Wiley and Robert Snow.   
Survivors include her daughter Yolanda and Thomas Barry of Brentwood; three sons Phillip Moore of Smithville, Kenneth and Hazel Moore of Texas and Stephen and Melissa Moore of Hendersonville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother Edgar and Nora Snow of Knoxville; three sisters Elizabeth Edwards of Nebraska, Elinor Burns and Mary Morgan of Atlanta, Ga.; and sister-in-law Mary Rhody Snow of Smithville.
Serving as pallbearers were Terrence Burns, Butch and Dwain Snow, Jerry and Harry Poss and Greg Gates.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
