Nichols

Thirty-five year old John Benjamin Nichols of Seattle died Thursday, September 8th.

He was born December 2, 1980 to his parents, Kathy (Gary) Malone of Smithville and Jerry Nichols of Shelbyville.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a Baptist.

The family will hold a celebration of life service honoring Ben’s life, Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Burton-Ponder Cemetery in Smithville.

The family has honored Ben’s request to be cremated.

He is survived by his son, Dylan Lee Nichols of Seattle. His sister, Melissa Greer of Cookeville. Half-sister, Megan Harden-Fulton of Unionville, Step-brother, Bryan Malone of Atlanta, Step-sister, Melanie (John) Crews of Smithville, Nephews, Jackson Greer, Dax Harden and Jack Crews. Niece, Layla Fulton, and cousins.
