John Henry Parker, age 80, of Watertown, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2021 at Quality Care Health Center in Lebanon.

 John was 36 year retiree of TRW Ross Gear.

 He was born Sept. 9, 1940 in DeKalb County, the son of the late Shelia Henry Parker and Vernie Lou Hale Parker and was preceded in death by his brothers, Jackie and James Parker and sisters, Billie Grizzle and Jean Richardson.

  He is survived by his wife, Edna Ruth Murphy of Watertown; daughter Christi Vastola and her husband, Mark of Lebanon; grandsons, Conner and Logan Vastola; sisters, Jessie Mai Ferrell, Elizabeth Burnett and Joyce Sparkman; nieces and nephews.

 Graveside service and interment will be held Friday, Aug. 20, 2021 at the Hale Cemetery on Pea Ridge Rd. in DeKalb County. Bro. Glenn Denton will officiate. 

 Hunter Funeral Home, Watertown, is in charge of the arrangements.
