Young John Robert Young, age 81, of Smithville passed away Sunday evening, August 19, 2018 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER. Mr. Young was a member of Elizabeth Chapel Baptist Church, retired from Nissan and a National Guard veteran. He was born August 5, 1937 to his parents, the late Dibrell and Lula Curtis Young. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Jenkins; and brother, Hugh Morris Young.
