John T. Motlow, 78, of Smithville, formerly of Lynchburg, passed away Friday morning, July 29, at the National Health Care in Smithville. He was the son of the late Clarence and Charlotte Largan Motlow. Mr. Motlow was a dairy farmer and of the Methodist faith.He is survived by a sister, Dot Motlow of Tullahoma; step-son, Eugene (Sherry) Hulan and children of Morrison; grandchildren, Heather Edwards and children of Ky., Lindi (Stephen) Carter and children of Smithville, and Rocky (Sarah) Conner of Springhill.Mr. Motlow was preceded in death by daughters, Sally Robertson, Susan Hulan; sister, Rebecca Stranahan; son, Eric Hulan Motlow; and brother, Doug Motlow.Funeral services were held July 31 at the Lynchburg Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.
