Lanier

John Wayne Lanier age 51 of Liberty, passed away Tuesday morning, December 13, 2016 at NHC HealthCare Center in Smithville. 

He was born July 3, 1965 to his parents, the late David Lanier and Ruth Tittle. 

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Linda Sue Summers.  John worked in Tree Service.  Survivors include his wife, Susan Lanier of Liberty; 1 daughter, Kimberly Lanier of Smithville; 1 son, David Frank Lanier of Liberty; 5 grandchildren, Julio Lanier, Martrell Addison, Shian Lanier, David Frank Lanier, Jr. and Jayton Lanier; mother, Ruth Tittle of Portland; brother, David Lanier of Woodbury; father-in-law, Bobby Summers of Smithville. 

Funeral services were conducted Friday, December 16, 2016 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Charlie Lawson offciated with burial following in Pedigo Cemetery.

Pallbearers included; Phillip Gingerich, Kevin Addison, Randy Tittle, Randy Bain, David Frank Lanier, Jr., and Charles Murphy, Jr.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
