Funeral services for Josephine Phyillis Pavone, 62, of Smithville, were held March 3 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel.    
Ms. Pavone passed away Feb. 29 at her residence. She was a nurse.  
She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Mary Agnes Michela Pavone; a sister, Gloria Engelhardt; and a brother, Frank Pavone.
Survivors include her children, Kari (Jacob) Ashford of Liberty, Joseph LaRocco of Melrose Park, Ill. and Patricia (Mike) Saylor of Bartlett, Ill.; granchildren, Michael Saylor, Antonio LaRocco, Claudia Ashford, Taylor Ashford; sister, Darlene and Rosemary Pavone, Geraldine Lipkie; and brothers, Anthony and Tommy Pavone.
 DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
