Funeral services for Josie Eldridge Green Boyd of McMinnville, 90, were held Nov. 10, at the chapel of High’s Funeral Home. James Boyd and Kevin Key  officiated with burial following at Mt. View Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd was a McMinnville resident and a DeKalb County native.
Mrs. Boyd was born March 23, 1923, and passed away Nov. 7 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness.
She was a retired hostess with ARA and a member of East End Church of Christ. She was the daughter of the late Bryan and Susie Rankhorn Green and was married to Lawery Dwain Boyd who preceded her in death March 8, 1989.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James C. Green, who died at D-Day, and J.D. Green; two sisters, Velma Walker and Maureen Sellars and great grandson, Aiden Wrisner.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda C. and Hugh B. Hillis of Bone Cave, Gretchen and Gene Rhea of McMinnville; four grandchildren and spouses, Lucretia and Jamie Brown, Chastity and Aaron Wrisner, Justin and Tera Rhea all of McMinnville, and Ritchey and Camilla Rhea of Bone Cave; six great-grandchildren, Kayla Brown, J.J. Brown, Ali Brooke Wrisner, Will Wrisner, Drew Wrisner and KeyLe Rhea; two sisters and brother-in-laws, Dorothy and Clayton Adcock of Smithville, and Janice and Harris Haley of McMinnville; special friends, Evelyn Travis and family and Kathy Reedy; three sister-in-laws; Wiona Powers of McMinnvile, Bonita Markum and husband Howard of Nashville and Ann Green of Clarksville; and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
High’s Funeral Home, McMinnville, was in charge of arrangements.
