J.W. King, born Dec. 23, 1925 to S.T.  and Etta Malone King in Wilson County, passed away May 14 in Lee’s Summit Hospital.
Funeral services were held May 18 at Stanley-Dickey Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill, Mo., where Mr. King had lived for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Gable King; children, Rocelle King (Mark) Gray, Tim (Julie) King, Kerry (Sarah) King, all of Missouri; sister, Anna Mai King Crowder of Alexandria; sister-in-law, Jewell Fuller King of Brush Creek; niece, Elaine Crowder (Joel) Collins; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Burial services will be at a later date at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
