Funeral services for Keeble Maynard Thweatt, 81, of Smithville were held Jan.23 at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Terry Fessler and Bro. Mike Carpenter officiated, with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
She passed away Jan.21 at her residence.
She was a retired Smithville shirt factory worker and affliated with Indian Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Thweatt; children, Diana Cantrell and Harold thweatt; parents, William Arvie and Willie Ann Maynard; brother, Clifton Maynard; granddaughter, Wanda Powers.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Sykes of Smithville and Martha (Darryl) Rowland of Smithville; one son-in-law, Charles Cantrell of Smithville; nine grandchildren, Glenda (Steve) Johnson, Scottie Sykes, Phillip (Debbie) Thweatt, Christie (Brian) Carter, Chad Rowland, Sonya Dyzban, Tonya Stewart, Becky (Kyle) Thompson, Todd (Jenny) Cantrell; 17 great-grandchildren,; siblings, Gerald (Pat) Maynard of Nashville, Marshall Maynard of Brush Creek, Sally (Troy) Jones of Liberty, Barbara (Tommy) Crague of Nashville, Sybil (John) Wait of Murfreesboro, Naomi (James) Malone of Mt. Juliet, and Shirley Wright of Nashville.
Pallbearers included; Phillip Thweatt, Todd and Charles Cantrell, Chad Rowland, Kyle Thompson, Brian Carter, Steve and Nick Johnson.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
