Ken Vise, age 79 of Smithville, formerly Fort Lauderdale, FL passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021.
Ken was creative and ingenious; in the printing business, he was a person who could always find a way to meet the needs of his customers. He was happiest when driving on the open road. Ken was enthusiastic about all things mechanical, especially motorcycles and cars. Good with a camera, the time he spent photographing motorcycle races was one of his favorite memories. Ken loved animals and often welcomed the neighborhood dogs; he supported animal rescue. He enjoyed nature, especially watching eagles and other birds. Ken was a kind person, devoted to his friends. Cognizant of world affairs, he was always compassionate towards the less fortunate.
He was preceded in death by father, R.K. Vise Sr. and mother, Louise Glisson Vise.
Ken is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Fred Tilinski; nephew, Don Wente; niece Trisha Wente Cox; several cousins and friends all over the country.
He was laid to rest at Lynnhurst Cemetery in Fountain City. Memorial donations may be made in Ken’s honor to A Place to Bark, P.O. Box 649, Portland, TN 37148.
