Funeral services for Kenneth Bly Dodd, 80, of Smithville were held July 4 at Hunter Funeral Home. Bro. Bobby Green, Bro. Jimmy Atnip and Charlie Morris officiated, with burial following at Wilson County Memorial Park in Lebanon.

He passed away July 1 at NHC in Smithville.

Born in Wilson County, he was the son of the late George O. Dodd, Sr. and Clemmie Bly Dodd, and was preceded in death by a sister, Bessie Owen; brothers, Joe and Robert Dodd; step-son, Jimmy Wade Thomason.

Kenneth was a manufacturing supervisor and a US Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Morris Dodd of Smithville; special step- sons. Paul (Brenda) Green and Bobby (Sandra) Green; children, LaDonna and Rodney of Kentucky; step-daughters, Carolyn Farrar of Murfreesboro, Gail Thomason of Smyrna, Janey (Larry) Dickens of Smithville; grandchildren, Scott Mitchel and his daughter, Amy and Troy Davis; numerous great and great- great grandchildren; brother, Junior (Frances) Dodd of Alexandria; nieces and nephews also survive.

Hunter Funeral Home, Watertown, Tenn., was in charge of the arrangements
