Medley

Kenneth "Bud" Medley age 92 of Smithville passed away Monday night at his residence.  He was born July 20, 1923 to his parents, the late Columbus and Pearl Sypert Medley. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters, Howard Medley, Alfred Medley, Eula Mathis, Bula Maggart, Lucille Fuson, Billy Joe Medley, Robert Medley, Ruth Moulton, Hollis Floyd Medley and Hazel B. Medley.

Bud was a U.S. Army Veteran and a farmer.  Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Nell Terrell Medley of Smithville; 1 brother, Gerald R. Medley of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.

 Funeral services were conducted Thursday, April 28, 2016 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Larry Elliott officiating and burial to follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers; Dwayne Foster, Jared Foster, Paul Byford, Frank Byford, Paul Medley, and Davey Ferrell.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville were in charge of the arrangements.
