LaMurle Jarrett Nichols age 87 of Smithville passed away Monday night, March 7th at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

She was formally a book keeper & a homemaker. Ms. Nichols was a member of the Smithville Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 11am at the Smithville Church of Christ. Burial & graveside services will be at Ridgecrest Cemetery in Jackson, TN at 3pm on Friday following the services. Visitation with the family will be Friday morning from 9:30am until service time at 11am.

She is preceded in death by 1st Husband, Hollis Dawson Parker (father of Mimi & Lynn) & 2nd Husband, Glen Nichols Sr. (father of Glen Jr. & Sharron). Parents, Hugh & Clusta E. McAuley Jarrett. Survivors include 2 daughters, Mimi Parker Bowling of Mt. Juliet, TN & Lynn Parker Fann of North Richland Hills, TX. 2 step children, Glen Jr. & wife Margaret Nichols of Smithville & Sharron & husband Dale Beatty of Smithville. 9 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren. 2 sisters, Frances & husband Dewitt Harbor of Temperance Hall & Hulene Pate of Memphis, TN. Several nieces & nephews also survive.
