Funeral services for Janet Kay Lattimore, 63, of Smithville were held Sept. 16 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel.

 

Bro. Mike Satterfield and Bro. Al Mahan officiated, with burial following in DeKalb Cemetery.

 

She passed away Sept. 14 at NHC Healthcare Center in Smithville.

 

She was born April 8, 1952 to the late Audie Lee and Willie Jean Vasser Bailey.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Glenda Ford, and Kathy White; special nephew, Jeff Ford.

 

Ms. Lattimore was a factory worker and attended Faith Baptist Church.

 

She is survived by two daughters, Rachel (Billy) Anderson of Sparta, and Ashley (Jason) Satterfield of Smithville; three grandchildren, Haylee Mullican, Jordan Farley, and Cloey Anderson; four sisters, Pat Ford, Faye (Tim) Martin, Nancy Bailey and Reba Scott all of Smithville; one brother, Roger Dale (Kathy) Bailey of Smithville; several nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.

 

Pallbearers included; Billy Anderson, Jason Satterfield, Josh Satterfield, David Scott, Terry Emberton, and Steve Emberton.

 

Honorary Pallbearers: Jordan Farley, and Brey Cook.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expense.
