Billings

Mrs. Leona Frances “Granny” Billings, age 93, of McMinnville died Sunday, August 26, 2018, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born May 31, 1925, was a homemaker, and a member of Bratchers Crossroad Free Methodist Church.

Mrs. Billings was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Frank Lee and Eula Elizabeth Bond Watson, husband of 58 years Cecil Earnest Billings, 11 brothers and 4 sisters.

Survivors include her son Levin (Rachel) Billings, brother Rev. Johnny (Barbara) Watson, grandchildren Gena Barry and Keith (April) Billings, great grandchildren Austin Barry and Ethan Billings, a brother-in-law, and 5 sisters-in-law. Nieces, nephews, a host of friends and loved ones also survive.

Funeral service was held Wednesday, August 29, 2018, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.  Bro. Bobby Wheeler officiated with interment fowllowing at the Centertown Cemetery.

McMinnville Funeral Home, McMinnville, was in charge of the arrangements.
