Leonard Redman, age 68, of Smithville passed away Tuesday September 24, 2019 at N. H.C. Healthcare in Smithville.
He was born July 10, 1951 to his parents, the late Charles L. and Ina Mai Maxwell Redman. In addition to his parents preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Redman; sister, Linda Judkins.
He was a member of Bright Hill United Methodist Church and was a carpenter.
He is survived by his children, Angelia (Kevin) Harvey of Lebanon, Ashley (Mike) Lich of Old Hickory; grandchildren, Kailey Harvey, Wyatt Harvey, Gavin Lich, and Ava Grace Lich; brother-in-law, Hooper Judkins of Smithville; sister-in-law, Linda Sutton of Smithville; nephew, Greg (Melaine) Judkins of Smithville; great niece and great nephew, Amber and Ethan Judkins; several cousins and friends also survive.
Funeral services was held Friday September 27, 2019 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Andy Estes and Bro. Dennis Wood officiating. Burial followed in Whorton Springs Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Greg Judkins, David Pedigo, Charles Cantrell, Jackie Young, Wyatt Harvey, and Pete Love. Honorary pallbearers were Tyler Pyles, Russell Estes, Phillip Estes, Jimmy Womack and Ethan Judkins.
The family has ask that donations may be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
