Lillian Stanley Taylor age 81 of Liberty, passed away Thursday night at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER of an extended illness.  She was born September 4, 1934 to her parents, the late Bill and Bertie Mae Tramel Stanley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 son, Leonard Johnson; 1 brother, Willie Stanley; 1 sister, Georgia Frazier; 1 half-sister, Jessie Mae Bain and 1 half-brother, Hiram Stanley.  She was a nursery worker, farmer and was a member of the Church of Christ.  Survivors include her husband, Bobby Taylor of Liberty; 3 grandchildren, Brad Johnson and Debra Johnson both of McMinnville and Melissa Johnson of Cookeville; 3 great-grandchildren, Dylan Johnson, Dustin Johnson and Peyton Johnson; 1 sister, Dixie Sweeten of Smithville and 1 brother, Wayne Stanley of Kitrell; several nieces and nephews also survive.  Graveside services and interment was held on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Gunter-Grizzle Cemetery.

Pallbearers; Mark Pryor, Cody Ferrell, Aaron Smith, Brad Johnson, Michael Estes, and Donald Reeder.

 

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.
