Fuston
Linda Fuston, 74, of the Shiny Rock Community of Smithville passed away Sunday at her residence.
She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Dry Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Kenneth Tramel and Bro. Jonathon Willoughby officiated with burial following in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Jennings and Mammie Bell Allen Lewis; two brothers, Robert Earl and Clyde "Bub" Lewis; and a sister, Mammie Ruth Lewis.
Linda is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bob Earl Fuston; a daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Richard Close; a son and his girlfriend, Tony Fuston and Thena Edwards all of Smithville. A brother and sister-in-law, Hartford and June Lewis of Lebanon. Three sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy and Earl West and Annette Elrod all of Murfreesboro and Betty Lattimore of Liberty. Two sisters-in-law, Lucille Lewis of Alexandria and Julia Mae Lewis of Wilson County. Three grandchildren, Trey Fuston and Caden and Conner Close all of Smithville. Several nieces and nephews survive including one special niece, Dana Turner of Smithville.
Pallbearers included: Caden and Conner Close, Trey Fuston, Brad Turner, Jonathon Willoughby, and Phillip Close.
Honorary Pallbearers: Robert Walker, Gary Mullican, Jimmy Womack, Jimmy Kimbrel, Kenny Edge, Ricky Hendrix, Jimmy Midgett, and W.C. Braswell.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville were in charge of the arrangements.
