Linda Gail Judkins, 71, of Smithville, passed away Thursday morning, July 26 at her residence. 

Linda was a member of the Bright Hill United Methodist Church, was a former beautician, dispatcher for seven years and worked at Smithville Builders Supply.

She was born August 23, 1946 to her parents, the late Charles Lorning and Ina Mai Maxwell Redman. 
Linda leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 53 years, Hooper Judkins of Smithville; son, Greg (Melanie) Judkins of Smithville; two grandchildren, Amber Lynn Judkins and Ethan Curtis Judkins; brother, Leonard Redman of Lebanon; brother-in-law, Jimmy (Donna) Judkins of Lancaster and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 

Funeral service was conducted July 29 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Junior Ellis and Wallace Caldwell officiating and burial following in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers included Jimmy Poss, Kevin Harvey, Charlie Parker, Mark Palamara, Hoyte Hale, Mike Redmon and Mike Lich. Sam Levan, Mike Conley, Dave Bennett, Marty Cubbins, and Lane Poss served as honorary pallbearers.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel of Smithville was in charge of the arrangements.
