Funeral services for Linda Pedigo Caviness, 66, of Warrenton, Va., were held May 11 at New Union Methodist Church. Tim Lewis officiated with burial following in Union Cemetery, Warren County.    
Mrs. Caviness passed away May 4 at her residence in Warrenton, Va. after an extended illness. She was a retired teacher and was affiliated with Wyoming Presbyterian Church, Millburn, N.J.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Mary Elizabeth Moore Pedigo.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Caviness of Warrenton, Va.; children and spouses, Jennifer Leigh and Tom Jacobs of Pittsburgh, Luther Wayne Caviness of Warrenton, Va., Janet Caviness and fiance, Jesse Fruchiter, both of Warrenton, Va.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Thurman and Jeanne Pedigo of Murfreesboro, Ralph and Raynell Pedigo of Morrison and Charles Johnson of McMinnville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelena and Mark Ashburn of Smithville and Virginia and Gary Newby of Sparta; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
High Funeral Home, McMinnville, was in charge of the arrangements.
