Funeral services for Lola Mae Walker, 62, of Smithville, were held Jan. 16 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial services were held in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.   
Mrs. Walker passed away Jan. 14 at her residence. She was retired from Denny Lamp Co. and of the Church of Christ. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Taft Whitefield and Eunice Mae Lawson Whitefield; brother, William Taft Whitefield, Jr. and Waymon Howard Whitefield; sister-in-law, Mary Glen Whitefield.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Walker; son, Timothy (Joanie) Walker; grandchildren, Javan and Kendall Walker; special daughter, Tamara (Derrick) Young; special graddaughter, Dominique Young; newphe, Jim (Cari) Waldrop, all of Smithville; sisters, Nell Stewart of South Pittsburg, Tenn., and Mary Whitefield of Smithville; brother, Charles (Sue) Whitefield of South Pittsburgh, Tenn.
Pallbearers included Jim Waldrop, Derrick Young, Eddie Walker, Carl malone, Dwight, Scott, Shane and Chad Walker.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
