Funeral services for Lonnie Estes, 70, of Woodbury were held Oct. 7 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Bro. Charlie Lawson officiated with interment following at Gunter Grizzle Cemetary.Mr. Estes was born in Cannon County and was a member of the Short Mountain Church of God, and was retired from Cannon County Highway Dept.He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Viella Thomas Estes, and infant sister, Leona Estes.He is survived by four children, Donnie (Rie) Estes of Beth Page, Micheal Estes, Rose (Arthur) Brown and Jennifer (Glenn) Estes all of Smithville; four grandchildren, Micheal and Christopher Caldwell and Johnathon and Cody Edge; four sisters, Betty (Jessie) Tanner, Ruth (Medford) Murphy and Virginia (Jay) Waycaster, all of Short Mountain Community and Dorothy Hobby of Pea Ridge Community.Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.Woodbury Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.SMITHVILLE REVIEWSmithville, TNOctober 9, 2013
