Funeral services for Louise “Mama Lou” Christian Frazier, 85, of Smithville were held Sept. 11 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Charles Braswell and Bro. Donald Owens officiated with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Frazier passed away Sept. 8 at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a floor supervisor in a factory and of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bobby and Alpha Cripps Bain; first husband, Carlon Christian; brothers, Samuel, Charles, Creston and Boyd Bain; mother and father-in-law, Hobert and Beulah Christian; step-daughter, Margaret Pack; and stepson, Eddie B. Frazier.
Survivors include her husband Edsel Frazier of Smithville; daughter, Linda Stone of Cookeville; granddaughters, Renee Johnson, Kendra (Rick) Guinn, Melanie (John) Crews, Amanda (John) Dakas all of Smithville; grandsons, Bryan Malone of Atlanta, Ga. and Jason (Janella) Pack of Christiana, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Macy Felts, Mackenley Turner, Nikolas Agee, Trey and Elizabeth Guinn, Chloe and Logan Pack, Andrew and Annqabella Dakas; three sisters, Elizabeth (Charles) Braswell of Ringgold, Ga., Martha (Charles) Preston of Smithville and Billie Bates of Paducah, Ky.; sisters-in-law, Mary Bain Colwell of Smithville, Claudia Bain of Westland, Mich.; her former son-in-law, Ernest Stone; son-in-law, Donnie Pack; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Edward and Frances Frazier of Smithville; sister-in-law, Adaleen Frazier of Sparta; and caregiver, Brenda and Steve Cripps. Many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews also survive.
Pallbearers included Hugh Don Cripps, Mark Bain, Dewayne Bain, Steve Cripps, Larry Bain, Wayne Tisdale, Justin Nokes and Rick Guinn.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Creston Bain, Randy Bain, Saxon Bain, Lynn Bain, Trey Guinn, MacKenley Turner, Nikolas Agee, Kenneth Clayton, Ernest Stone and Johnnie Cripps.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, LLC, was in charge of the arrangements.
