LTC Lee Alan Plummer, USA Retired, age 78 of Alexandria, passed away Thursday morning, May 28, 2020 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER. 

 He was born November 6, 1942 to his parents, the late Chester Alan and Barbara Lou Greeley Plummer.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by step-daughter, Jennifer Lopp Pate and brother, Keith Alan Plummer. 

 He was a Retired Lt. Col. with the U.S. Army with over 29 years of service, Two Star General with the Tennessee State Guard, a Mason and was a Christian.

 Survivors include 3 children, Janilee Plummer, Clark Alan Plummer and Nikki Lee Bottum; two step-daughters, Nola Elizabeth (David) Moore and Harriet Hankins Lopp; son-in-law, David Pate; four step-grandchildren, Emily, Samantha, Danielle and Brian; two brothers, Mark Alan Plummer and Tim Alan Plummer. 

 Funeral service was held Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating with Full Military Honors following at the funeral home.  Burial with a family only comital service was held at Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. 

 In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Kidney Fund, in memory of Mr. Plummer. 

 DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
