Luther George Martin, 71, of Murfreesboro, previously of Watertown, passed away Aug. 23. A native of DeKalb County, he was the son of the late George Herman Martin and Mozell Waggoner Martin.Funeral services were be held Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro. Elder Sue Hutchinson and Elder Glenn Grisham officiated with burial following in Jones Hill Cemetery in Watertown.Mr. Martin is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Serita Kerr Martin; daughter and son-in-law Vanessa and Ron Reece; and two grandchildren Aaron and Evan Reece all of Murfreesboro.Mr. Martin was a member of Temperance Hall Pentecostal Church in Lancaster.
