Warfel

Mainell B. Warfel age 84 of Smithville, passed away Thursday morning, October 20, 2016 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. She was born May 23, 1932 to her parents, the late Joe and Betty Mitchell Elledge.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon O. Warfel; son, Randy Brown; step-daughter, Rebecca Brown; 1 brother, Joe Elledge and 1 sister, Chase Davis.

Ms. Mainell was a member of the Smithville First Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include 2 step-children, Marie (Tommy) Davis of Mt. Juliet and Gordon W. (Linda) Warfel of Charleston, IL; 6 grandchildren, Chandler Schwede, Kent Cast, Nathan Davis, Layne Warfel, Kimberly Warfel and Randy Warfel.

Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Salem Cemetery with Bro. Rick Roberts officiating.

There will no visitation or services held at the funeral home family and friends will meet at Salem Cemetery.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.
