Margaret Evelyne Underwood, 88, of Shakopee, MN died on Friday, Sept. 6 at Augustana Emerald Crest in Shakopee. Evelyne was born on May 10, 1925, in Smithville, the daughter of Willie and Susie Pirtle Gay. She married James N. Underwood on Dec. 20, 1941 in Smithville.Evelyne loved being a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Shakopee, where she was an active member of the Presbyterian Women’s Group and many bible studies.
