Funeral services for Mary Alice Rush, 86, of Carthage, formerly of Alexandria, were held May 23 at the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home. Burial services were held in Hillview Cemetery.   
Ms. Rush passed away May 21 at Smith County Health Care Center. She was born Sept. 23, 1925 in Lebanon. Her occupation was that of a homemaker. 
She was preceded in death by her father, George Haynes.
Survivors include her three nephews.
Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria, was in charge of the arrangements.
