Joines

Mary Joines, 68, of Dowelltown died Saturday at NHC Healthcare Center in Smithville.

She was a member of the Dry Creek Baptist Church and a bus assistant for the DeKalb County School System.

The funeral was Monday at 3:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.

Bro. Donald Owens officiated with burial following in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joines; parents, Marvin and Sarah Mabe Hutson; sister, Geneva Simmons; and brothers, Kenneth and Ed Hutson. Survivors include a daughter, Tammy and Mike Crook of Dowelltown. Grandchildren, Alicia and Robbie Maxwell and Jordan Crook of Dowelltown. Sister, Lou Jones of Sparta. Several nieces and nephews and several special caregivers.

In addition to flowers, please make donations to the Dry Creek Baptist Church.

Pallbearers included: Jimmy Womack, Jimmy Kimbrell, Ricky and Jared Hendrix, Kenny Edge, and Bob Earl Fuson.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, was in charge of the arrangements.
