Funeral services for Mary Thelma Redmon, 87, of Smithville, were held Sept. 19 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Wallace Caldwell and Bro. Mike Neale officiated with burial following in Keltonburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Redmon passed away Sept. 16 at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a member of Keltonburg Methodist Church and worked at the shirt factory.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Nola Byars Cantrell; husband Clyde Redmon; and brothers Wallace, Elmus and Solon Cantrell.
Survivors include her two daughters Trena (Johnny) Hayes of Pegram and Rita (Ricky) Prince of Smithville; grandchildren Lori (John) Warren of Kingston Springs, Cindy (John) Grubbs of Lebanon, Mark (Jan) Hayes of Greenbrier and Holly and Amy Prince of Smithville; great-grandchildren Emy Grubbs, John Paul Grubbs, Abigail Warren, Olivia Warren, Blake Hayes and Gracie Hayes; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included David Cantrell, Anthony Cantrell, Dennis Washer, Bryan Schrock, Jeff Day and Chuck Redmon.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
