Graveside services for Mattie L. Pedigo, 77, of Buffalo Valley were held Sept. 11 at at the Jones Cemetery in Buffalo VAlley. Bro. Herb Leftwich officiated. A celebration of life for Ms. Mattie followed the graveside services.
Ms. Pedigo was born June 26, 1936 in Buffalo Valley, the daughter of the late Myrtle Jones and Harp Pedigo.
She was also preceded in death by sister, Blaine Tramel Coker; and great-great-grandson, Reese Turner.
She worked at the Rose Garden Restaurant in Silver Point for 22 years as the evening cook. Ms. Pedigo attended the Siver Point Baptist Church.
Ms. Pedigo is survived by three children, Dale (Brenda) Pedigo, Charles Pedigo and Mark ( Kim) Pedigo; grandchildren, Shane (Valerie) Turner, Shaun (Bari) Turner, Seth (Vandice) Pedigo, Ciera Pedogo, and Jessica (Michael) Crouch; great-grandchildren, Jordann and Cadin Turner, Isabellla Turner, Summer, Maddie, and Liam Pedigo Colten Brown, and Eli and Addison Crouch; nieces, Ruth Gibson and Judy Staggs; nephew, Sammy Coker; special first cousin who was more like a brother, Johnny Love; and a host of friends also survive.
Bass Funeral Home, Gordonsville Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.
