Funeral services for Suzanne Louise McCoy, 88, of Smithville were held Feb.10 at the Chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home.

 

Elder Ken Cabral officiated, with interment following in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville.

 

She passed away Feb. 5 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home in McMinnville.

 

She was born March 20, 1928 in Paris, France to the late Francois Blot and the late Marguerite (Hartz) Blot.

 

She was an artist and homemaker.

 

She met Commander Sergeant Vibert McCoy, whom she married April 28, 1960 in Wharon Barracks Chapel of Heilbronn, Germany.

 

She is survived by one sister, Madeleine Sedelot of France; special niece, Elizabeth Freeman of Cookeville; numerous nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, June Stidham and husband Hubert of Norton, Va., and Inez Hunter of Columbus, Miss.; two brothers-in-law, Sergeant First Class William C. and wife Bobbie McCoy of Bristol, Va., and Raymond McCoy of Memphis.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Command Sergeant Major Vibert McCoy.

 

Crest Lawn Funeral Home, Cookeville was in charge of the arrangements
