Funeral services for Clyde Medley, 90, of Smithville were held March 15 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Tommy Webb and Bro. Issac Gray officiated, with burial following in Whorton Springs Cemetery.

 

He passed away March 13 at DeKalb Community Hospital.

 

Clyde was a member of the Smithville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 32nd Degree Mason, Scottish Rite, he was a member of Liberty Lodge #77, retired from Warren County Furniture, and was an U.S. Army Veteran.

 

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jewell Medley; brother, Herman Medley.

 

He is survived by a step-son, Nelson (Faye) Gilreath of Smithville; granddaughter, Tarron (Bobby) Huddleston of Lebanon; grandsons, Shane (Donna) Cook of Liberty and Nathan Cook of Smithville; four great-grandsons, Colby Huddleston, Quentin Cook, Taylor Cook and Heath Cook; one sister, Maggie McPherson of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews also survive.

 

Pallbearers included; Shane Cook, Nathan Cook, Bobby Huddleston, Ronnie Turner, Jimmy McPherson, and Barry Medley.

 

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville was in charge of the arrangements
