Mr. Michael Booth age 69 of London, Ohio, passed away Tuesday night, December 1, 2015 at Doctors Hospital West in Columbus, Ohio.

 

He was born October 6, 1946 to his parents, the late James Franklin and Lula Mae Thweatt Booth.

 

Mike was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in Vietnam, a member of Victory Baptist Church, and worked with OSU security at the Art Center.

 

Survivors include 2 daughters, Courtney (Jesse) Fawcett of Flower Mound, Texas, Suzanne Jones of London, Ohio; 2 grandchildren, James and Harrison;  life companion, Joyce Bond of London, Ohio; 1 sister, Pam (Jerry) Adkins of London, Ohio; 1 brother, Frank (Joan) Booth; 1 aunt, Wilma Judkins of Smithville and 1 uncle, Walter Booth of Killbuck, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

Funeral services were held December 5, 2015 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel.

 

Bro. Michael Hale officiated with burial to following in Jefferson Cemetery with Military Honors by the Veterans Honor Guard. 

 

Pallbearers included; Jerry Adkins, Jeremy Adkins, Katie Burham, Jody Booth, Todd Booth, and Joe Booth.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either a Veterans Charity of your choice or to the Alzheimer's Association, in memory of Mike.  

 

 

 

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville was in charge of the arrangements.
