Michael Ray Campbell, age 63 of Smithville, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 8, 2023, at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
He was a retired truck driver and a Baptist. He enjoyed eight years of being referred to as "Band Dad" by all the D.C.H.S. band students. He was an avid band supporter and he enjoyed riding motorcycles.
Mr. Campbell was born on August 9, 1959 to his parents Tracy and Elsie Bratcher Campbell who preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Britney (Johsua) Gulley and Kristen (Gatlin) Dougherty, two grandchildren, Sawyer Dougherty and Michaela Jo Gulley (due in April), one special aunt, Gracie Bratcher all of Smithville
Funeral service was held Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, and burial followed in the Banks Cemetery. Bro. Dan Gulley officiated.
Pallbearers included John Armour, Jimmy Pirtle, Shawn Jacobs, Brayde Baker, Bill Dougherty and Codie Owens.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
