Michael Ray Roysden, 49, of Smithville passed away Aug. 5 at Sara Cannon Hospital. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 11 at 11 a.m. at Silver Point Baptist Church.

He was retired from the Navy and Maintenance Mechanic Army Corp of Engineers. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Roysden.

Michael is survived by his wife, Michelle Roysden; two children, Allen Michael Roysden of Murfreesboro and Sarah Michelle Roysden of Smithville; mother, Evelyene Roysden of Jamestown; brother, Ricky (Diane) Roysden of Jamestown; and sister, Pam Conner of Albany, Ky..
