Funeral services for Minnie Lee Poss of Smithville, 66, were held Oct.14 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Thomas Hewell officiated .
Ms. Poss  passed away Oct.11 at DeKalb Community Hospital.
Ms. Poss worked at Federal-Mogul and was affiliated with the Baptist church.
Ms. Poss was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold Murphy and Della Hale Poston; brother William S. Murphy.
Ms. Poss is survived by sons, Timothy (Vanessa) Poss and John Poss of Smithville; daughter, Billie Poss of Memphis; eight grandchildren, John Michael Poss, Justin, McKayla, Taylor, Elijah, Uriah, Tim Poss Jr, Summer Poss of Smithville; great grandchildren, Amber Poss and Jackie Poss of Smithville; sisters, Dimple (Charlie) Blanchfield, Donna (Mike) Harwell, Darlene Wooley and David Griffith and Denise Redman; brother, Ernest Murphy; stepfather, Charles Poston, all of Smithville.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
