Mitzi Anne Crook Taylor, age 59, of Doweltown passed away Monday morning, September 18, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro. 

She was a factory worker. 

She was born February 28, 1964 to her parents, the late W.C. and Autrey Clayton Crook.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rev. P.M. and Hattie Clayton and Ewing and Alta Crook. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Matthew Ryan Taylor of Dowelltown; two sisters, Bettye Crook of Dowelltown and Penny Lou (Jay) Youngblood of Lascassas; one brother, Jerry (Brenda) Crook of Smithville; one nephew, Jeremy Crook and several cousins. 

The family has honored Mitzi's request to be cremated and no services are planned.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses. 

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
