Mr. Charlie Agee, age 74 of Smithville passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at St. Thomas Mid-Town.
He was a longtime member and deacon of Indian Creek Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his grandkids and family. He enjoyed gardening, building treasures with his hands and fishing.
Mr. Agee was born on March 11, 1946 in Smithville to his parents, the late William Jackson and Louise Johnson Agee. Also preceding him in death was his wife of 54 years, Junita Agee; one child, Melinda Kay Agee; and a brother: Hobert Agee.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte (Randall) Blaylock of McMinnville, and Lucinda Fay Agee of Smithville; two sons, Roy Agee of Smithville, and Kevin (Jennifer) Agee of Smithville; four grandchildren: Nikolas, Briona and Cali Agee all of Smithville, and Justin (Brittney) Blaylock of Bradyville; sister, Jean (Danny) Bandy; three brothers, Bobby (Carolyn) Agee, Jimmy (Carolyn) Agee and Danny (Deborah) Agee all of Smithville; sister-in-law, Judy Agee of Smithville. Several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral service was held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will followed at Whorton Springs Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Donnie Agee, Michael Agee, David Agee, Daniel Agee, Heath Robinson, and Larry Johnson.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
