Mr. Darnell Sevier, 76, of Gordonsville, passed away June 1 at his home.Darnell was born May 30, 1936 in Overton County, the son of the late Charles Clural Sevier and Mary Edith Hunter. He married his wife and mother of his children, Thelma Lynch Sevier, on March 9, 1954, and she preceded him in death on February 18, 2009. Darnell is also preceded in death by his son, Steve Sevier, and four siblings, Arvil Sevier, Donie Sevier, Onie Crawford and Bonnie Mullins.
