Mr. Gary Wayne Adcock, age 74, of Smithville passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023, at NHC in Smithville. He was a retired roofer.

Mr. Adcock was born on August 7, 1948 to his parents, Haston and Rose Banks Adcock, who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Mickey Adcock and Jonathan Adcock; and two brothers, Ronnie Adcock and Danny Adcock. 

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Holly (Dale) Bryant of Dowelltown; two grandchildren, Devin (Whitney) Thomas and Destiny (Travis) Pendergraff all of Smithville; 5 great-grandchildren, Rylan, Zayne, and Maddox Thomas, and Liliana and Copelyn Pendergraff all of Smithville; two brothers, Eddie (Kim) Adcock of Michigan, and Kenny Adcock of Arizona; nephews, Matt (Monica) Adcock and Anthony (Marissa) Adcock all of Arizona, and Kory (Emily) Adcock, and Kyle (Amy) Adcock all of Michigan.

Funeral service was held Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Bobby Thomason officiated and burial was in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers included Dale Bryant, Devin Thomas, Travis Pendergraff, Anthony, Matt and Kyle Adcock. 

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
