Mr. Jerry Edward Herman, age 63, of Liberty passed away Monday June 7, 2021 at his residence in the Pea Ridge Community. 

He was born March 18, 1958 to his parents, the late Ewin Herman and Josie Anderson Herman Hobbs.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Womack. 

He was a member of the Mt. Moriah The Baptist Church.  Jerry worked for Cumming Signs for 13 years and with the Board of Education as a custodian for over 10 years. 

He is survived by his wife, Murinna Herman of Liberty; two daughters, Leslie (Zane) McKee of Lascassas and Olivia (Matthew) Melton of Auburntown; six grandchildren, Allie, Jackson, Brady, Mary Grace, Ava and Ivy; one sister, Vicky Murdock of Manchester. 

Graveside service and interment was held Friday, June 11, 2021 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Bro. Leonard Herman officiating.

Jerry’s family served as pallbearers. 

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
