Mr. Timothy Ernest Puckett, age 58, of Smithville passed away on Tuesday afternoon, February 1, 2022 at his residence.

He was a retired tour bus driver for John Anderson and did landscaping. He was a member of the Smithville Church of Christ. 

Mr. Puckett was born on May 17, 1963 in Smithville to his parents the late Wilburn and Lois Certain Puckett. Also preceding him in death was his brother, Steve Puckett; sister, Patricia Rowe; and niece, Debbie Rowe.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mary Elizabeth Cantrell Puckett; brother, Eddie Puckett; nephew and nieces, Dwain Rowe, Terry Rowe, Krista Goff, Jake Puckett and Cody Puckett all of Smithville;  brothers-in-law,Robert Rowe of Smithville; Gerry (Beverly) Cantrell and their children, Greg, Brigette and Wendy; Paul Cantrell of Smithville and his children, Nikki, Kylee and Jenna. 

Funeral service was held on Monday, February 7, 2022 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home with interment following at Puckett Cemetery. 

Pallbearers were Tim Anderson, Bert Driver, Greg Bradford, Dwain Rowe, Jake Puckett, and Donnie West. Honorary pallbearer was John Anderson. 

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
