Mrs. Priscilla Jean Dyer, 87, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at her residence in Smithville.

She was a member of the Center Hill Baptist Church and a homemaker. 

Mrs. Dyer was born on November 19, 1937 in Huntsville, AL. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Tatum and Thelma Pollard Cates; husband, Gordan Dyer, two great-grandchildren, Paislee Cripps and Jessie Martin; two brothers, Roy and Junior Pollard; and sister, Earlene Pollard. 

Survivors include, three sons, Larry (Shirley) Dyer of Smithville, Gary (Jean) Dyer of Woodbury and Terry (Tammy) Dyer of Charleston, TN; one daughter, Melissa (John) Mingle of Smithville; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. 

Funeral service was held Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Bro. Dewey Dyer officiated with burial following in Odd Fellow Cemetery in Baxter, TN. 

Johnathan Buck, Tyler Cripps, Tyler McCuchen, Tommy Martin, Sean Booth, James Glenn and AJ Glenn were pallbearers.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
