Funeral  services for Ms. Jim Ayers Cripps, 91, of Dry Creek Community of Dowelltown were held May 5 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Kenneth Clayton officiated with burial following in Salem Cemetery.
She passed away May 3 at her residence.
She was a homemaker and a methodist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Cripps; son, Gary Cripps; parents, John and Callie Moore Ayers; two brother, Edward Ayers, and Charles Brigham Ayers.
She is survived by two sons, Dwight Cripps of Dry Creek Community, and Jerald (Lisa) Cripps of Liberty; daughter-in-law, Wanda Cripps of Mt. Juliet; four grandchildren, Angela Royalty and (Paul Tubbs) of Lebanon, Matthew (Melody) Cripps of Murfreesboro, Jordan (Nicole) Cripps of Dowelltown, and Justin (Tiffany) of Smithville; four great-grandchildren, Brody Royalty, Brayden Tubbs, Christian Cripps, and Owen Cripps; brother, Joe Ayers of Dowelltown.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
