Funeral services for Ms. Jimmie G. Mullican, 79, of Smithville were held Jan. 22 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Mike Clayborn officiated with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Mullican passed away Jan. 19 at NHC of Smithville. She was retired from Toshiba and a Christian.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jackie Austin Mullican; parents Franklin and Connie Pack Hendrix; a son Phillip Lyle Hendrix; a brother George Hendrix; and a sister Frankie Hendrix Taylor.
Survivors include her two sons Jackie Mullican of Smithville and Darrell Mullican of Nashville; a daughter Jayrah Hire of Alexandria; three grandchildren Brad and Kim Trapp of Smithville, Josh Hire of Hartsville, and Tabitha and Bobby Joe Anderson of Smithville; five great-grandchildren Nikolas Anderson, Macy Anderson, Liz Qualls, Cailin Trapp and Briz Trapp, all of Smithville; special friend Rebecca Petty of Smithville; brothers and sisters-in-law Buford and Hazel Mullican, Gloston and Florene Mullican, all of Smithville.
Pallbearers included Richard Savage, Aaron and Jason Taylor, Joe Anderson, Josh Hire and Brad Trapp.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
