Ms. Jo Doris Evins Boles, age 96, of Orlando FL, and a Smithville native, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at her home in Orlando, FL.

Ms. Boles was born on February 18, 1924 in Smithville to her parents, the late Charles Potter “C.P.” and Jessie Conger Evins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Richard Boles and a sister, Helen Adcock. She was retired, having worked in the Hotel/Motel industry as a PBX Operator and was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include three children, Barbara Kathleen DeVor, Margaret Ann Fedorchak, Charles Richard Boles; and a grandchild, Brandon Speer all of Orlando, FL.

Graveside services and interment was held on Friday, August 21, 2020 at DeKalb

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
