Ms. Joann Pack Odom, age 86 of Smithville passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 at her residence.
She was born on April 30, 1933 in Smithville to her parents, the late Oscar and Mattie Tittsworth Pack. She was a homemaker and a member of the Smithville First United Methodist Church.
In accordance with the Executive Order Number 17 regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation with the family. A private graveside service was held on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Whorton Springs Cemetery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyte Odom and a son, James. Edward Odom; two brothers, Kenneth Pack and David Pack.
Survivors include a son, Richard (Jann) Odom of Alabama and two daughters, Regina Odom of Smithville and Renee Odom of Georgia; four grandchildren, Chad (Julie) Hendrixson of Smithville, Ashley Sward of Hendersonville, Olivia Odom of Alabama and Nathan Pifer of Georgia; two great grandchildren, Maggie Hendrixson of Smithville and Leena Pifer of Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Smithville First United Methodist Church in memory of Ms. Joann.
