Ms. Tammy Crips Rhea, age 51, passed away on Tuesday evening, October 19, 2021 at St. Thomas West in Nashville. 

 Tammy was born on July 13, 1970 in Smithville to her parents, Melvin Crips, Sr. and Beverly Redmon Crips.

 She was of the Christian faith. Tammy loved her family dearly and enjoyed every moment that she got to spend with them, and her favorite place to be was at the beach.

 Survivors include one son, Cameron Rhea (Chelsie); one daughter, Kaitlin Rhea; two grandchildren, Asher Castorena and Emersyn Castle; mother, Beverly Redmon Crips; father, Melvin Crips, Sr. (LeeAnn); brothers, Bubba Crips (Tina) and Cody Crips; nephews, Caelin Crips and Landon Crips. 

 Funeral service was held Friday, October 22 in the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Graden Kirksey will officiate. Burial followed and in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

  Pallbearers included Caelin and Landon Crips, Drew Castorena, Michael Carter, Zack Stanley, Marty Crips, Josh McElroy, Seth Gerringer and Asher.

 Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
